Long Beach Pride Parade - May 19th 2013

PFLAG is always met with a very warm welcome by the crowd at Pride. Many LGBTQ youth express their gratitude to those representing our local chapters stating thing like, "I wish my mom could be as wonderful and supportive as you!" Thanks for continuing to show your lovely faces, friendly smiles, and for giving out those needed hugs. LOVE WINS!

Orange County = 1st Wednesday of the Month -- Long Beach = 2nd Wednesday of the Month -- South OC = 3rd Wednesday of the Month -- Meetings are typically 7-9pm -- See Chapters for more info --

What to Expect at a Meeting

We don't judge - We SUPPORT. Expect a casual, relaxed atmosphere where all discussions are kept confidential. Engage with friendly, supportive people. Listen to other experiences.

Mission Statement

Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays promotes the health and well-being of gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgendered persons, their families and friends through: 1) support - to cope with an adverse society; 2) education - to enlighten an ill-informed public; 3) advocacy - to end discrimination and to secure equal civil rights. Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays provides opportunity for dialogue about sexual orientation and gender identity, and acts to create a society that is healthy and respectful of human diversity.
